Welcome to Zero Zero Lab

I’m Andy, the human behind 00l.uk. By day (and often by late night), I’m a tech nerd, father, and persistent learner. This site isn’t just a portfolio; it’s my digital workbench. It serves as a living repository for the processes, methods, and occasional “happy accidents” that occur while building a modern tech lifestyle.
What I Do Here
Zero Zero Lab was born out of a desire to document the “why” behind the “how.” Whether I’m optimizing a Proxmox cluster or troubleshooting a WordPress hook, I believe in sharing the process – bugs and all.
My content generally falls into three camps:
- Tech: Deep dives into homelabbing, networking architecture, AI integration, and coding. If it can be self-hosted, scripted, or containerized, I’m probably messing with it.
- Creating: Moving beyond the screen. I share my experiences with 3D printing, from functional prints for the home and lab to the inevitable tinkering required to keep the bed leveled and the extruders humming.
- Lifestyle: The “analog” side of things. Photography, travel, and reviews of the hardware that actually makes the cut in my daily carry.
Why “Zero Zero”?
In the world of networking and code, everything eventually boils down to the binary. But as a dad, I’ve learned that life isn’t always 1s and 0s – it’s about the space in between. This lab is where those two worlds meet.
